I have more understand standing and passion for the poor then you . There plenty of time I pushed the Case for the poor all you push for is the rich getting richer
For the record, I've worked with vulnerable people for nearly 30 years so I know full well that sharing out finite resources among an ever increasing number of people results in a worse outcome for all of them.

Perhaps if Migration Watch and others stopped wailing that all asylum seekers and refugees were handed four-star accommodation and all sorts of other goodies as soon as they arrived, the UK might lose its attraction. As the Rwanda deterrent is unlikely to get off the ground, wouldn't it be better to highlight the rudimentary refugee reception centres and publicise how the UK can't provide adequate housing for significant numbers of its own people, including many serving personnel or care for its homeless veterans...? This country will only lose it's attraction when the government start treating foreign criminals like criminals instead of honoured guests. |

I've worked in the public sector under three terms of Labour and three terms of the Tories and I can tell you that there is no functional difference. So if you imagine that anything will change under Starmer then you're even more stupid than you already appear.
