On the subject of degrees - a new US study finds that IQs in universities are now average (102) A few more years and university IQS will be below average (ie they will be selecting against intelligence) It's now about money and filling as many spaces as possible. It can make you feel like you're being held back, which could lead to smarter people dropping out from boredom. Still, it's a good place for Communists to groom fresh meat. |

And about Generalise there Some posters that Generalise about Ethic Minority being Criminals because they constantly post Articles about a Crime Committed by Ethnic minority .and Some even use that to say we Shouldn't have immigration. I think in General people who try and make a point Whether it be a good one or poor one Generalise .Don't you Generalise about New labour ability to Goverern the County by always posting about the Welsh party Failings ? |

Even though Labour supporters on here are claiming Jew haters leaving the party to join Corbyn will split the vote and benefit the Tories. yes of Course there Racist in the labour Party unfortunately there Racist in all forms of public life .Don't you think them that disagree that a Neo Nazi Group like National Action are Banned because of there Activities are Racist? |

There is a welsh branch of a uk labour party , whose leadership is headquartered in London. The point is , if labour can't run Wales , and improve peoples lives , why should anyone elsewhere trust them ? Drakeford in Wales , as the local branch manager , and sarwar currently in Scotland , take orders from party hq in London from starmer. you cannot absolve the blame of labours performance in Wales or Scotland from the London hq. We know this as a string of Scottish labour branch managers , from Wendy Alexander all the way through to characters like dugdale and Leonard have told us decisions are largely out of their hand. They perform the tasks set to them by their superiors in London. |

Yep - very true. The Tories are now the natural home of the Working Class. How times change..  I know that you said that in jest, but it was of course the loss of the red wall that got Boris his majority in 2019. I would not be quite so quick to rubbish that. Or at least i would seriously question the attraction of the Labour party to many who would once be considered their prime source of support On the old forum, i forget when it was now, a chap posted a link to a short book he wanted reviewed. It formed the basis of a speech he proposed to make at the Labour Party Conference. I took up his invitation. At the height of Emily Thornberry’s contemptous rubbishing of Essex White Van Man this chap gave compelling reasons why these small businessmen should be viewed as natural labour voters. Many were self employed, and many of those who were incorporated had done so as a direct result of an incitement in the way of a tax incentive created by Gordon Brown which, it was plain to see when viewed through the eyes of someone in my position - forced to incorporate because you could not get Public Indemnity Insurance in the nuclear industry as a sole trader - was nothing more than a honey trap. These people, forced now into compliance with a tax fiddle created by Brown called Section 660, were prevented from employing family members by threat of such employment being viewed by Nirth Wrst 5 Trusts and settlements as tax evasion. The bottom line being Labour under Brown had gone out of its way to alienate thousands, probably more, who should and would in the past be viewed as natural supporters of the labour party. Today i’m far from convinced either party actually has my best interests as a high IQ highly educated developer of software engineering solutions at heart. I’m equally convinced neither have the interests of my kids or grandkid at heart either. |

Don't you Realise your Generalised in that post . BNP members to be barred from teaching Education secretary pledges new powers for heads to dismiss teachers who are Headteachers are to be given the power to dismiss teachers who are members of the BNP or other groups which have an "extremist tenor". The pledge by the education secretary, Michael Gove, follows the case of a BNP activist who used a school laptop to post comments describing some immigrants as "filth". Gove said he would allow school heads and governing bodies to sack teachers for membership of the far-right party. Members of the BNP are barred from working as police or prison officers. |

Labour did much better than the Conservatives amongst those who have a degree or higher, by 43% to 29%. The Liberal Democrats also performed very well amongst this group with 17% of the vote share. We saw in 2016 that those with a higher education level were overwhelmingly more likely to back remaining in the EU, and this has seemingly transferred into party voting. The Conservatives won amongst the much larger group of voters who do not hold a degree, however. They outperformed Labour by more than two to one (58% to 25%) amongst those whose highest level of education is GCSE or lower. in terms of political preferences, education also played an important role. It was revealed that those with a University degree are more likely to vote labour, where those with GCSE or below-level education are more like to vote Conservative. Two bob degrees don't signify intelligence . Ive always said that Blair changed the school leaving age to 18 so his army of lefty teachers had more time to influence the way students think politically . Jimmy’s dad ran a butcher’s stall in the local market. In the seven years since i last saw him, he had helped his father expand to a chain of i think it was seven ir eight such establishments across south wales…. But back to my year. In my fourth year ROSLA condemned our year to suffer the disruption of over a hundred kids who were now denied the right to go and earn money, being forced instead to stay in school firca further year for no good purpose whatsoever. All it achieved was a reduction in the unemployment statistics. Blair’s ‘edukashun edukashun edukashun’ mantra, combined with gordon brown’s deliberate destruction of funding forcing universities to deny places to british students because foreigners paid more and brought overseas government funds to pay it, and to charge tuition fees to brits, was again nothing more than a sham designed to remove 18 year olds from dole queues for no good reason. |
