Because the only conceivable way that you didn't lie is that you honestly believed that it was blue. Which doesn't in any way take away from you wanting it to be blue to make Brexit voters unhappy out of spite. Or your willingness to say anything no matter how obviously untrue in order to denigrate those who do not share your politics. But it does mean that you were so stupid as to believe obvious liars over people who told you the truth. That the very people you have been looking to for guidance have been lying to you in the most ridiculously obvious way and that you now recognise that to be true and that you have shown unbelievable levels of gullibility. So, either you are a liar or you are a colossal idiot now having to face up to your own stupidity and the dishonesty of the people you stupidly decided to trust. I don't think you are going to like this however you choose to own it. Whatever way you choose to sell it, there has been nothing gentlemanly in your behaviour. It's been an act of petty spite all along. So please take this opportunity to learn from your mistake and grow. If you are willing to explain why you have been propagating a spiteful and ridiculous lie and own it. Then I will apologise to you for calling you a liar but not for calling you a petty and spiteful dumbarse. You can't have it both ways. There is no happy outcome in this for you. There is no "win" scenario where you come out saving face. So let's hear it, are you a stupid person whose poor judge of character has led him to try and reinforce the spiteful lies of others so that he can call people smarter than him stupid out of a shared sense of spite, or are you a liar? Oh I agree they are almost black But when the Home Secretary, the Home Office, the government, the passport office and umpteen websites say they're dark blue then it's really poor form for Baff to call people liars for repeating that claim in good faith. |
