The future of Europe is tied up in the difference between whether they want to be subservient to the US or they want to look east regarding trade. A larger percentage of GDP is being generated in the East these days and the global south is looking like the next area to develop. It could go either way, but right now Europe is being destroyed by immigration which in part is caused by NATO wars.
