It has been a good few months for Labour. October saw the party overturn huge Conservative majorities at by-elections in Tamworth and Mid Bedfordshire, winning the latter for the first time. These followed victories in Selby and Rutherglen earlier in 2023, giving Labour three by-election swings of 20% in a single year- just one fewer than Tony Blair achieved as leader in the run up to the 1997 election.
These victories seemed to bear out the polls. Labour has been ahead of the Conservatives by an average of 20% in recent months, while consistently leading on support amongst ‘swing’ voters. The party also has an advantage on policy. When asked which party has the best policies, Labour leads on those which are most important to the public, including health, the cost of living, and the economy.

The Jewish Chronicle’s response to Jeremy Corbyn’s winning the party leadership race thanks to Ed Milliband’s fuckaboutery was to run an editorial that stated openly that ‘no man who is not a Friend Of Israel can be allowed to become the British Prime Minister. And theyvare referring of course to being on the take from that lobbying organisation not being chums at a dinner party I ask again How is a man so openly in favour of not stopping tbe current israeli bloodfest going to retain the islamic vote the party found so vital it turned a blind eye to all sorts of scurrilous activity by adherents of that cult across the country including seats where the islamic vote returns cabinet ministers ??

And i give the same reply again minus the Islamic vote in the 2005 election. Blair still won that Election by a Marjority. Don't you understand what I'm saying the Islamic vote had no bearing on the 2005 Election and I'm sure it won't again. Anyone let's look at Sir Keir stance on the conflict in Gazza. We stand with Israel and her right to defend herself against the terrorists of Hamas. We stand for international law, the protection of innocent lives, humanitarian support for Palestinians. And we do so, because we stand for a political path to a two-state solution. And a better future. And you seem to think that the islamic population of Britain support the Terrorist of Hamas who slaughter innocent people Israelis and Palestinians.

He probably thinks that because of the thousands of Jihadi protesters dressed like terrorists that come on our TV screens every Saturday, climbing like monkees over our war memorials in London. The Police standing by watching and the whole disgraceful mess being encouraged by the Left Wing Muslim Mayor.

I think it will be an interesting election. Not too long to wait now…. Yes it would be a interesting election what will secure a victory by Labour And tweedle dumb will be replaced by tweedle dumber god help us all, still there may be a hung parliament and a coalition and Ed Davey could be made deputy pm with special responsibility for justice which would be great wouldn’t it? I'm afraid as I get older the current crop of politicians across the board seem more concerned with image than the long term welfare of the people of this country or I’m maybe more cynical.

No, it's not just you. Our current crop of politicians seem to have abandoned any pretence of public service. Now it's very much a case of "Do as I say, not as I do." And they are all the same. They are all establishment lackeys.
