The UK has become the world leader in combating climate change - the first industrial country to halve its emissions.
All very good - but has it made any difference at all?.

Well, that chap who spoke at the Oxford Union on this subject put it very well For one night only, he said, i join you on the opposite side and embrace the gospel of Saint Greta. But seeing as the UK contributes less than two per cent of the world’s carbon emissions, if we were to suffer a disaster that caused the entire UK to sink into the sea tonight, it would make next to no difference. He went on to explain why if those speaking to oppose his view really wanted to contribute to the issue, they should strive to invent a way forward that solves the problem at a cost of next to nothing, with massive cost savings, for only that way will the crushingly poor of India take up the measure. Those who must walk mines into the country to shit behind a tree are hardly going to pay for solar panels and EV’s Worth a listen m.youtube.com/watch?v=zJdqJu-6ZPo
