But seeing as the UK contributes less than two per cent of the world’s carbon emissions, if we were to suffer a disaster that caused the entire UK to sink into the sea tonight, it would make next to no difference. He went on to explain why if those speaking to oppose his view really wanted to contribute to the issue, they should strive to invent a way forward that solves the problem at a cost of next to nothing, with massive cost savings, for only that way will the crushingly poor of India take up the measure.
