How sad that Poland was made to take migrants to qualify for EU funding. It's especially unfair given that not a single Pole has migrated from Poland in the last 20 years.

If you're looking for bribery and corruption, look no further than Nigel Farage, who refused to support EU measures to curb Russian propaganda at a time when Putin was literally murdering people on British streets. That's the very definition of a quisling! In any other era, Farage would have ended his life on a scaffold. |

Note: In other NEWS Viktor Orban vetoed package funding of 50 billion to the Ukraine. EU leaders have pledged to deliver the aid regardless, making a mockery of the EU's own rules. Not that I agree with Orban, but then again I disagree with a "rules-based" system/bloc that bends its own rules when it suits. |

I think it's astonishing that there's so little comment in the media about this blatant bribery and corruption. Basically the EU Commission has manipulated an election in a sovereign state by saying that they'll give Poland 111 billion euros if the electorate elect the "EU's man" Tusk. This is the type of behaviour that occurs in African banana republics - but even there it would be condemned by the world media.
Any idea that the EU Commission is democratic is dead and buried.
