Sir Keir Starmer's unpopularity laid bare as Sir John Curtice sets out dire situation for LabourPollster Sir John Curtice has warned that Sir Keir Starmer is as unpopular as Labour leaders before him who went on to lose general elections. Despite holding an almost 20 point lead in the polls, Curtice said Starmer is failing to capitalise on the Conservative Party's unpopularity and neither party has a leader that is particularly positive, at least so far as public perceptions of this are concerned. www.gbnews.com/politics/starmer-approval-ratings-john-curticeIt would seem one thing Starmer and Sunak have in common is the fact that they're both unpopular. Does this suggest we are in for a low turnout, or maybe the fact that both Labour and Tory leaders are unpopular will be good news for Reform UK.

I'm predicting that Labour will win, but not by as much as the polls suggest.
And it will be with a record low turnout. Starmer will not have a mandate for anything.

I'm predicting that Labour will win, but not by as much as the polls suggest. And it will be with a record low turnout. Starmer will not have a mandate for anything. According to the Sunday Times, 30% say they will vote Labour, 22% say they will vote Tory, 10% say will vote Reform, and 29% say they are undecided. All to play for.
