Richard Scorer - Is probably the UK's leading child abuse and sexual abuse lawyers
he is also a member of the Labour Party and an ex Labour Party General election candidate.. funny you forgot to mention that.. TBH Sid - your attempts to shill for Starmer are rather too amateurish for this forum..try Mumsnet. And your attempts to denigrate Starmer and the left are a disgrace.

Should the leader of His Majesties official opposition not be allowed to visit Britsh troops on NATO's front line ? No he should not. Parliamentary oath or not he is a fucking security risk.

Richard Scorer - Is probably the UK's leading child abuse and sexual abuse lawyers Richard is a Principal Lawyer and head of abuse law with many years' experience acting for victims of serious injury and child abuse in high profile cases. He has particular expertise in cases involving religious organisations including Catholic and Anglican churches and minority religious groups. He acts for a large number of clients in the independent inquiry into child sex abuse, has achieved many landmark settlements and has litigated cases through to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. This is what Richard Scorer said about Keir Starmer : "As one of the lawyers who represented Savile's victims, I can confirm that attacks on Keir Starmer over this are totally unjustified, Starmer did more than any other DPP to advance rights of victims. No DPP can control every decision, but the CPS was much better under his leadership.
skwawkbox.org/2023/04/03/88-of-staff-said-starmer-was-poor-and-4-out-of-5-said-his-values-were-at-odds-with-cpss/Lawyers club sticking together ,well there's a surprise . The people that worked with him had a different view . skwawkbox.org? and a Tory newspaper! Doesn't start off very well. __"Prosecutors dropped tens of thousands of criminal cases in 2007, despite having enough evidence to bring offenders to court. The CPS halted action against more than 25,000 defendants because it was not in the “public interest” to continue. More than 2,000 cases destined for crown court were also thrown out because it failed to get files ready in time."__ Maybe the above ^^ is the reason for some discontent? I recall the big change under Starmer which was a reaction against, IIRC, over 50% of cases sent for trial failing to get a conviction due to insufficient evidence. So the new priority was set at something like, 'there must be a reasonable chance of successful prosecution' of cases sent to the courts. Thus cutting out much of the dross that had been allowed to pass through, (some retraining required?) and Making the the CPS much better under his leadership.

LOL FFS who is the pratt trying to fool?.........Sir Drama now thinks he has supported his country via the homeland forces. Police, Army,Navy, RAF. sadly none. But thinks he knows best?
'He looks like Gareth from The Office': Keir Starmer dons military fatigues for troop visit photoshoot as he follows in the footsteps of Rishi Sunak and Boris Johnson
Ok he’s trying to pretend he’s out on the russian front line Now, as i have said in other posts, in common with my father while working for IBM at the height of the cold war, i HAVE actually stood within 200 yards of the russian border, twice, in two separate western countries, and in a no man’s land between the western eorld and something quite different once I’m quite certain he’s miles from a russian sniper in those pictures I bloody well wasn’t when i was at the borderline and i chose to appear in attire suggesting i was a Royal Air Force techie on the occasion, and a Royal Navy one for the other. Not because i wanted to pose for the papers as one who’s taken the queen’s shilling but because if the bastards in the other side of the curtain shot me i expected it to be the start of world war three. I don’t know why this prick wanted to masquerade as one of those who earned the uniform. Given he almost certainly wants to dismantle our armed forces, or more likely is being told to by his party members, i am not sure they should have let him. But they did. Hey Ho.

Based on his spell 'leading' the Crown prosecution service . Seems he made a right pigs ear of that ,his only major gig . The point is after 13 years of the Tories we deserve better and Starmer ain't it The UK have a knack for putting failed people in to high profile jobs, the bank of England Boss Andrew Bailey was kicked out as CEO of FCA, because he failed, Starmer failed as DPP, Cameron failed PM, all now in high profile jobs, so gone are the days you were rewarded for good work and competence, you seem to get better rewarded if you are a failure. Bailey studied History when he went to Cambridge. Quite what that has to do with central banking I really do not know. Hardly the best man for the job eh? I was wondering about this and thinking what successful politician has there been who was a lawyer. I can't think of any offhand, but asking what successful politician there has been and then reverse engineering that to what they studied, I think the answer is Chemistry. Lady Thatcher and President Xi both hold this title. I guess it stands to reason, because a chemist is the one who mixes stuff together in order to get the right reaction. That's the kind of brain you need to run a country. A sort of chemical harmony. Like the chick says, we have the right chemistry between us. Get a lawyer to run it and you get tied up in legal agro in everything your try and do.
