Me thinks you haven't worked out that science has decided there are several dimensions and if Einsteins theory is correct they are all interlinked. You obviously think you know better; I am pretty sure the human master race has long been a political theory. I think the balance of probabilities is that we can expect total indifference to our interests and values at best. I do have a rationale but it's not easy to put in a small, un-boring paragraph. The reason we bothered with tools is because we weren't happy just sitting in a cold cave and rolling the dice with the grim reaper every winter. It's that very same impulse that leads to conflict. We share it with all animals (certainly all carnivores). Rabbits will likely never develop tools so long as there is a strand of grass in front of them. It would never occur to them that they could 'get all the girls' by hogging all the grass in a structure and paying gaurds. There has been one massive driver behind human violence throughout history: a scarcity of resources. There just hasn't been enough land, food, etc., to go round. Alien entities with the entire universe at their disposal are unlikely to suffer from a scarcity of resources. I don't see why violence should be expected in that case. That and the reason given by Srb above. Scarcity of resources may be one but I would have thought pure acquisitiveness was another. Some may see what other people have and want it, or even not want the other people to have it, so some form of jealousy is also probable, then there is Helen and the thousand ships so to paraphrase 'the monstrous regiment of women' is another. |

I gave you an example. It was a start you thinking about it. That all this nonsense that an alien lifeform must be some kind of humanoid that has survived and evolved into a master race, it is highly unlikely. Chemistry and physics are the same throughout the universe. Any creature would need dexterity to create and use tools . Any advanced technology would need to be developed from a basis of crude tools . What was the example that refutes this ? Not necessarily they could have evolved some form of telepathic controls after all who would have thought bats and Dolphins used echo location which seems mundane to us now but if someone had mooted it 200 years ago then the nut house beckoned. Or even chemical controls by emitting selective chemicals to carry out specific tasks, after all that is what we do in our bodies and wasps and suchlike do to initiate attacks on threats. The possibilities are endless, they may even control other organisms to do tasks for them which also happens in our world. |

I wouldn't worry about, the chances of two civilizations existing (a) at the same time and (b) close enough together, are so small that it will never happen.
The entire UFO conspiracy is just a circle jerk caused by nations pretending they have something they don't, so the other side is wary of some kind of super weapon.
If you are going to worry about anything worry about ice ages / asteroids / volcanos / solar storm / plague / nuclear war... because those things will end us before Aliens.

The really BIG Problem has been the way most scientists and their Media has been wandering around in a COMA around this whole subject since WW2 … that’s over 70 years fast asleep … doing nothing effective … whilst the Deep State and Black Ops Spooks got really BUSY and buried themselves DEEP UNDERGROUND … and made themselves untouchable and unaccountable. …. The point about telekinesis or telepathic control is that we do not know if they are possible but who would have thought echo location possible hundreds of years ago. Controlling other organisms by chemicals is very much a possibility and a reality and who knows if a big blob like a whale could release an array of chemicals to make other groups do specific tasks for it. Once an organism goes down that route then evolution will hone and temper the ability. Also other organisms may find it advantageous in an evolutionary way to allow themselves to be so used. |
