Anyone can post a video on youtube.
And it is possible to make very convincing footage, that isn't real.
Wanting something to be real, isn't the same as it being real.
To have proof of extraterrestrial civilisations, it requires more than a video.
It requires something anyone can put to the test.
You've never met an alien or seen a UFO.
You believe online conspiracy theories too much.
Give me a radio frequency, a star system to point a dish at, a language cypher.
That sort of thing would constitute evidence.
But you can't do that Dub, because deep down, you know what you're coming out with, as much as you may wish it to be true, isn't.

Btw - just because a debunking is crap and full of holes (as Thunderfoot's is here), doesn't mean the original claim is true. However, i think this is a good illustration of how people are not giving the idea the normal amount of space for an unknown

I think the fairly unsubtle message behind the film Independence Day was that if humankind finally got confirmation that we were not alone in the universe, we might start to appreciate that we are all one people, sharing the same ball of rock travelling through space, so some good might come of it. I'd love to think you were right. In actuality I think that what would most likely happen is someone, or some company, would try and leverage massive profits by selling the rest of us out to the aliens. All The Best |
