No. You just don't want the Tories to be a broad church. The problem is that the populists have caused a lot of issues for the party since 2016, May couldn't control them and Boris encouraged them, Truss was one and Sunak can't control them. That's nonsense. The reason the Tories are having such a shit time is because nobody has forgotten the Covid catastrophe and all the people we lost. I disagree. The reason that the Tories are having a shit time is because they're not Tories.
The boats still come, while the (un)Tories still kowtow to the EU and the ECHR.
They need to read the room... And go Dutch.

Far better just to take your orders from Brussels and the WEF - people should learn their place..

Are you saying that there is no room for small c Conservatives in the Conservative Party? Seems a bit of an odd position to take. I mean just imagine if Labour under Corbyn kicked out all the Blairites?

And that's a poisoned chalice on both sides right now.

What do you mean by "fixing public services" Dappy? Do you mean hiring loads of civil servants, middle managers and staff we don't need, raising taxation to pay for them and running the private sector into the ground? Personally I would cut the size of the civil service, remove middle management from the NHS and other public services, replace diversity quotas with a best person for the job policy. I would abolish devolution to cut costs further. I would cut tariffs on imported goods we do not make or grow to reduce prices. I would buy back all the tanks we sold Jordan that they no longer use and lend lease those to Ukraine, there's hundreds. What do you mean by running the private sector to the ground . Do you mean the private sector that wasted billions of tax payers money by the Government. Whether that be by providing inadequate covid equipment. Or a inadequate health care services what cost us billions and responsible for 1000 of preventable deaths . Or the construction industry that's received billions in Government grants for buid

Or a construction industry that's received billions in Grants for building projects they not done like building houses or hospitals . Also adding extra cost to building projects not needed.

You do realise it is the private sector that creates the growth that pays the taxes?

Exactly, the private sector creates the growth, pays the taxes and employs the most people. The public sector requires tax to pay for it.
If tax rises too high, the private sector cannot make a profit. If the private sector cannot make a profit, tax revenues fall, debts rise, growth is replaced by recession.
So, allow the private sector to be as profitable as possible whilst still being able to get tax from it. The more private businesses operate here, the more net tax revenues the exchequer gets.
The idea of strangling businesses with tax, is economic suicide.

Funny how we get rid of one semi-literate lefty and instantly gain another.
What is it with these people who can't even string a coherent sentence together but think they can run the country?
They're positively delusional.
