The boat people are coming here illegally, and not only do the government not stop it, they look the other way quoting the law, not our law, but international law, not getting the fact that we are soverign and can make our own laws.
If there was a similar problem in mainland Britain, the police would intervene immediately, like people trafficking.
Then like last night, someone loses their life, as has happened before. Does this make Rishi Sunak and the Conservative government liable, aiding and abetting illegal activity leading to death, not once, but many times?
The answer is yes.
There is no moral core the Sunak, he still doesnt get it, the only concern is that illegals bring with it an economic boost, and energy and get up and go the British dont have because Sunak pays them to sit at home, if we believe that. Is Sunak going to lose sleep over the deaths in the channel last night?, no. In fact he will stand up in parliament and continue to lie. We are run by gangsters, as well as those sending the boats.

You are wrong. It is not illegal to travel to another country to seek asylum, that is why they cannot stop it!
We would damage our international reputation beyond repair if we were to pull out of the ECHR or Refugee Convention.
We could stop it by machine-gunning the boats before they reached our shores, but again... think of our reputation.

Yes it is illegal, the convention is only an agreement whereby the contracting parties agree that no punishment should be inflicted on those who act in that illegal fashion to claim asylum. We have signed many such international agreements one being that led to the ECHR which based on UNDHR says that every individual citizen has the right not to be discriminated against in law by race, yet we have positive action where white people are allowed to be discriminated against in law. It seems International law can be ignored if it is seen fit to do so. We can only assume our representatives do not think it fit to do so despite the clear indication that that is exactly what most of those whom they represent directly wish for.

Dodgy, those people are economic migrants, and are men. I can see we are going to have an argument i cant be bothered. Have you ever been divorced?, i have, so has Britain, we can do what the f we want, you can shove international law and reputation up your jacksy.
In fact the more we assert ourselves the MORE respect we will get, no the weak pathetic walk overs we are now. France Hungary, Germany, Turkey, they all ignore EU law when it suits them.
You were born yesterday mate.

You were born yesterday mate. You are missing the point, I am detailing the reality of the situation, not supporting it. Use your brain, if it was so easy to solve, why haven't they? Why hasn't France, Germany, Spain and Italy solved it either? You say they are economic migrants, the left say 80% have their cases for asylum granted so you are wrong. That being the case, you have to face the fact that YOU DO NOT KNOW, and neither do I, because we are not a direct witness to the facts... so like most people, we will pick the facts and experts that match our biases. Again, use your brain, free your mind, if you ever think you are 100% certain of anything that you have not personally witnessed then you have already lost the argument.

You free your mind Dodgy from shackles. The reality of the situation is that we can do what the fek we want, regardless of whats happening elsewhere, your reality is that we still adhere to international law, and if i were prime minister, i would go on live tv and wipe my ass with the human rights crap.
Whats best for Britain comes first, only an enemy would do what the conservatives are doing. Going on tv and doing that is called leadership.

A sovereign British government signed the Refugee Convention. A sovereign British government could leave the Refugee Convention. Until that happens, the sovereign British government is subject to international law and the obligations voluntarily undertaken by it.

My own opinion for what it's worth is that apparently anyone from anywhere can up sticks and dump themselves on another country expecting to be housed clothed and fed and generally looked after, regardless of the impact on the native population of that country who are powerless to prevent the intrusion and subsequent effect on their lives. Something stinks.

Something stinks. Not quite accurate. You need to need to replace 'anyone' with a 'person whose life or liberty was in danger in their country of origin'. And you need to replace 'any country' with 'any country that voluntarily undertook to provide refuge to a person whose life or liberty was in danger in their country of origin.'

OK then I'll replace 'anyone' with reference to all those I've seen on channel boats: 'Young single male migrants.'

Like Wales. We did not sign up to letting thousands of Romanians claim housing benefit by flogging the big issue and claiming it defines them as self employed.

I merely feel the inaccuracy of the BBC needs to be stressed.
