Scott Benton is likely to be suspended from the HoC for offering to ask questions inn HoC in exchange for money. His political career is surely over and rightly so.
I wouldn't have thought there was much doubt that the Tories will lose this byelection. As a Northern red wall seat surely a bit of a make or break opportunity for Reform to show they can be a major threat to the Tories - perhaps even beating them. If Farage is serious about getting back into politics, is this his opportunity or is it a little too Oop North, whippets and feral black puddingy for him to want to get involved.
