Boris might return, but it would do the Tories no good, they would still have the same chances of winning the general election as they do now.
The Tories are in a "Cant Win" situation they are F***ed

Same as Labour, the Tories have different factions, and different types of supporters / voters, but to put it into a simplistic nutshell, the two main wings of Tory voters are (1) The Populists, who think that culture wars is more important than actual politics, these voters are more prominent in the North, in working class areas, and in the Red Wall Seats.
The other main type of Tory voter, are the traditional Tory voters, who reside mainly in the South, the Home Counties, and these people are largely appalled by Boris Johnson, and want a return to traditional Conservative values.
A Populist will give the Lib Dems and Labour a gift in the South, but a traditional Tory leader would see the Red Wall seats go back to Labour.

Wales is supposed to be a model for the next Labour government. Twatford wouldn't be able to find his own arse if you gave him a map. Look at the bloody mess they made during the pandemic. It should be the loony left who should have to endure the bullsit covid enquiry.

So leftie politicians who want biological men to be defined as women and bend the knee to BLM are in fact populists? Good point .

On GB News today it was posited that perhaps Boris and Nigel might return to the Tory fold.
While I personally think that they would be a winning combo, I believe that they should wait until after Labour have been allowed to wreck the UK and the Tories have purged the unTories.
Then they would have a landslide.

I think Johnson has had his day and should stay retired - I'd like to see Farage take over leadership of a beaten Tory Party after the next election just for the craic..

If the Tories made Farage leader they will win the next GE hands down, Farage has the patter, and now people realise he's not a racist, and most people are saying now what he was saying then 'illegal migrants' will be out of control, those who were calling him a racist for saying it, are now saying it themselves.

Along with the 15 years of Tory wastage prior to New Labour rescuing the economy?

British people 'are crying out for' a Nigel Farage pact with Suella Braverman - pollster.
