But it's not really life, is it. This feral peice of scum stabbed two police officers, one in the arms, the other in the neck and chest, he was charged with attempted murder and GBH. He has been sentenced to life in prison, with a proviso he should serve just 20 years - linkIn the 1960's the train robbers got 30 years for stealing money. It's incredible that lefties say judicial punishment today is harsh. In this country the penalties for committing crime have never been more lenient, which is why crime is out of control. |

Life sentences have been explained to you many times before. Not sure I can be arsed to do it again

Old Righty at it again. IIRC, the robbers were jailed for Robbery and GBH to the train driver. In my lifetime the punishment for murder has gone from capital punishment to as little as 15 years in prison. At this rate it wont be long before the courts award murderers compensation. The further to the left society goes, the more lenient punishment becomes. The result of a lenient judicial system is prisons full to capacity because deterrents become meaningless. |
