Blimey Red, this has been explained to you many times before. It seems the penny is finally dropping.
It’s not about money but yes there are different types of immigration of which you have highlighted two. The difference between them is not about money but about intent.
Those who wish to seek asylum need to interact with British officialdom in order to claim it. Getting her by boat works for them as it is virtually inevitable that they will be intercepted by British officialdom. Let’s call them asylum seekers
Some people want to come here to work in the black market. They have to avoid British officialdom so boats don’t work for them. The old fashioned routes in lorries and containers is their route.let’s call them illegal immigrants
Actually you still haven’t seemingly picked up on what is thought to be the biggest form of irregular immigration - visa overstayers.
Virtually everyone would support efforts to halt illegal immigrants and visa overstayers yet the government is ignoring them to focus Instead on asylum seekers. The majority of people seeking asylum are judged to be genuinely avoiding immigration persecution and hence have a far stronger legal and moral case to come here.
So why are this hopeless government focussing on the probably smaller number more legitimate arrivals and ignoring the more numerous illegitimate illegals immigrants and visa overstayers?
I am afraid the answer is that since Johnson to this day , the government is only interested in tabloid headlines and cares little about solving real problems. Boats make excellent photo opportunities , containers and visa overstayers don’t so they are what appears on tabloid front pages and hence this government only cares about them
It’s one of the big reasons why we desperately need a change of government.
