slow down the drinking it's making you incoherent. "The ongoing costs from deliberately making the country poorer also need to be taken into account" The only country in the world that has erected trade barriers on ourselves.🤣 we have a free trade agreement with the EU.

We are not checking goods that come to the UK from the EU as we should be doing. How is that 'free'?

Im dipping in and out of it.  What a cad, i wouldnt trust this fekker with a fiver, ducking, diving, lying, hes like the cad from tom browns schooldays. He fooled the whole country into thinking he had a brain, as slippery as it gets.  He has harmed the country, they all do, but he more than most. I’ve made my views about him fairly clear. I don’t propose to repeat them. I’ve had the dubious pleasure of meeting him, once professionally, once by pure chance. On both occasions i chose not to shirk what those who know me describe as my ability to speak truth to power. He is a product of his upbringing. He was almost born to expect to be given power, to rule, almost. But i say you underestimate one aspect of him. You say he fooled the whole country into thinking he has a brain. Suggesting a lack of intelligence or common sense or worse. From my experience of him i say either you don’t mean that, or are sadly mistaken. First and foremost if you hadn’t already worked it out, the buffoonery you see throughout his sessions at the podium whilst Mayor is absolutely, entirely, an act. My impression of him from my chance encounter might throw some insight. During the EU Referendum campaign i worked for a company that handled all the London Underground Service emails. His battle bus pulled up to campaign in the town square right by me and he got out. No minders, no journalists. In the brief moments before they disembarked i asked for a moment of his time, said i was going to vote leave, had been a mere month or so too young to vote in Wilsons Referendum so had waited 40 years for this chance… BUT, i said, that LIE on YOUR bus makes you the REMAIN campaign’s greatest asset, can you not SEE that ? His response rather astounded me. He said he knew it was wrong, that it was a mistake, and a stupid one, but it was one they must now live with and work with. It was as if he was a victim of circumstance. He said the same to one of the news reporters that interviewed him on TV. I heard him say it. But i never heard him say it again. I guess Cummings briefed him not to. Like you, i have ‘dipped into’ the footage of him at the enquiry Well, one tiny part of it. I wonder if you saw it. It was a ten maybe fifteen seconds long piece of dialogue He spoke of when he was lying in Intensive care He said ‘there were a number of people there with him, and many were about his age, some even younger, and it seemed pretty clear to him that some of them were going to make it, and some quite clearly were not. I wonder if you saw that ….

We are not checking goods that come to the UK from the EU as we should be doing. How is that 'free'? if there are no restrictions how can it be any more free? Why are you demanding barriers be erected? if i might stick my oar in …. I think myself for far too long we have allowed the EU to give us the run around and make life shit for us, yet have utterly failed to retaliate…. For example, for decades the EU used us as a free ride to shift goods from the European mainland to the republic of Ireland and vice versa. The roads west of Swansea were choked with 44 tonners, roads built for tractors a nughtmare, our layby’s pissed in and shat on by less than hygenic drivers from dodgy transport firms running goods on the cheap, the single carriageway runnfrom Red Roses to Fishguard a particular suicide run for a cyclist, and i speak as one who HAS cycled it. The French demands for all sorts of shitty paperwork did us a massive favour. With the delays and expense of bringing goods to Ireland via the UK, DFDS seaways has been forced to open a sea route bypassing us. As a result literally thousands of tonnes of metalwork and cargo has not degraded our road network, god knows how many thousands of gallons of diesel has not been burned by those lorries and turned into CO2, nitrous oxides and particulates… I’m struggling to see a problem But it was clear from day one we absolutely failed to be as nasty to those seeking to exploit us for our road network as those who controlled our access to Europe’s were to us And that was a serious failing on our part.
