I have found two articles one initially from the independent news sites which is alarming:

It would seem like a group of young men of Algerian descent travelled to a French village which was having an annual celebration and stabbed several young French men and killing one called Thomas of 16.
Now it seems this was organised attack with the attackers travelling 50-250 miles to attack this event in the village.
French authorities are clamping down and arresting the local Far Right though I cannot understand why they just don't call it a domestic terror attack.
