We should all be concerned. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, is accused of corruption and human rights abuses, he is the current vice president and deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the minister of the presidential court and member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi. [They're not big on democratic accountability in the ME] Do we really want this man to own The Telegraph? Can't see the issue - in the past we have had the 'Bouncing Czech', Tiny Rowland, Rupert Murdoch and John Scott all owning newspapers in the UK so it is not some hallowed position where only the great and good should be allowed.

Mmmm, yes indeed. However, you will notice that non of the people you mention have names that begin with, Sheikh. People who's name begin with Sheikh tend to have a very dim view of piffling things like freedom of the press, democracy and free speech.

My post will probably end up deleted or edited to mean something else entirely. Fear not B-4, this place is a glowing example of democracy and freedom of speech. Unless Monte is on duty... Et Tu Brute?
