A bit like asking why people rely on news outlets owned by Saudi Arabia and former KGB to slag off the democratic wishes of the people. Still, it is strange that the establishment Tory is showing any concern, considering they are known to encourage Saudi Arabia to invest into this country.

Elitism exists all over the world with different colours and creeds - Japan, China, India etc. Therefore, singling white privilege out as something unique is a racist fallacy. |

As evidenced by the red legs in Barbados I think, who are a white minority and discriminated against in their own country. It seems people want majority privilege to be the same as white privilege and it is not. |

Not sure that White Privilege has anything to do with Government concern over who owns the Torygraph given the lack of White representation at the top of the Party.

We should all be concerned. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, is accused of corruption and human rights abuses, he is the current vice president and deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the minister of the presidential court and member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi. [They're not big on democratic accountability in the ME] Do we really want this man to own The Telegraph? |
