''Just as I don't see a problem with China effectively wanting to eliminate Islam in their own country.'' Well, I never expected to see anyone openly support genocide on this site. I'm not "openly supporting" anything. I'm just posing a question of logic. I'm not interested in knee-jerk accusations of "genocide". The human rights issues that Qatar has are basically part and parcel of any Islamic country. You should spend a bit of time living in a muslim country then you might understand what goes on. China has got pissed off with muslim terrorism and President Xi said he'd had enough when the Uighurs killed 30 Chinese in a terrorist attack. So he decided to "re-educate" them i.e brainwash them to remove their islamic brainwashing. There has been no genocide - unless you count sterilising some muslims who have had too many children. It wouldn't go down well over here of course but China actually is trying to do something about its population - which I think is a good thing for the climate. Still this is a digression.

You don't need to practice genocide to eliminate people from a particular place. OK, my mistake. I'll correct my statement. Well, I never expected to see anyone openly support ethnic cleansing on this site. Better?

Ethnic cleansing may be what some call it but when people of a totally different culture/religion move into another territory and convert or attempt to convert the native population to their customs/religion then you can expect opposition and remedial action; territorial rights are expressed by humans, animals and even insects with Britain and other countries experiencing similar circumstances. Even forum mods exercise similar duties.

It was interesting to watch Neville being attacked by Hislop - a slimey little Leftie dwarf. When asked why he was taking money from a country with a human rights record like Qatar he just didn't know how to answer. But surely it's easy to scupper Hislop's attack. Qatar is a muslim country and as such it follows Sharia law - the holy law of Islam. Under Sharia law homosexuality is illegal and punishable by death, and women are inferior beings as are the Kuffar. So Qatar follows Sharia law as they are perfectly entitled to do. It's their country. A more pertinent question for Hislop to answer would be why have we allowed Islam to take such a hold in the UK. If we think this religion's beliefs are so toxic why have we allowed the muslims to build vast numbers of mosques all over the country (most of which don't allow women in). And the answer is that Lefties like Hislop would never say a word against Islam or the muslims. Hypocrisy of the highest order. It’s a question, but why for Hislop? If “we” allowed Islam to take such a hold in the UK, why would Hislop know? And who’s this “we”? Is it you? It isn’t me. I suggest it’s up to those on HIGNFY to decide what to ask, say and respond. It’s up to anybody to watch, complain, switch off as the mood takes them. But I suggest your blanket accusations against “we”, a religion you probably know no more about than me, and Hislop for not condemning events in this country when the topic raised was about earning money from commentating on football taking place in Qatar, illustrates the readiness (or vulnerability) of the ill-informed to be radicalised by the mob… Let's make it simple for you. The "human rights" abuses that Hislop - and his kind - object to are basically down to the Islamic law that Qatar (and most muslim countries) adhere to. You'll find the same in Saudi Arabia - end even in some relatively "westernised" countries like Dubai. The likes of Hislop say that it's "bad" - but it's the law of Islam (Sharia Law). "We" - by which I mean the UK - allows people to live in the UK under Islamic law. It even encourages the pursuit of Islamic faith by allowing exemptions to several laws - like corporal punishment in schools, sexual segregation in mosques, inhumane slaughter of animals etc. We allow the teachings of the Islamic book. So why do some people suddenly think it's so terrible when people live by this doctrine in their own country? They're already doing it here and Hislop has never complained. There are no laws of blasphemy in the UK yet when a Bradford teacher had to go into hiding for teaching "Free speech", I never heard Hislop complaning about human rights". And it wasn't so long ago that this country banned homosexuality - only repealed in 1965 IIRC. And Private Eye lampooned "poofters" and "queers". All good fun of course. I'm perfectly happy to go and work in a muslim country (and have done several times). I don't like their culture, but if it remains in their own country I'm fine with that. That's their right. What pisses me off is when they cme here and try to impose their crap. And what pissed me off even more is when idiots like Hislop attack people who work in muslim countries but refuse to say a word against Islam. That's gross hypocrisy.

The thing is that it isn't even ethnic cleansing. China is one of the very few countries that has tried to control its own population, and I think it should be given credit for that as population growth is biggest problem we have in relation to the damage done to the planet. China had a one child policy but it has relaxed it. It even allows up to 3 children now. But when certain immigrant groups take the piss, by having more than 3, steps may be taken to prevent any more. This is not genocide. Some may object to it on "'uman rights" grounds but China is a sovereign country and we should respect its rights to enforce its own laws.

That may be disputable insofar as the Tocharians are attributed speaking Indo-European and originated in Central Asia. Migration of Uyghurs were, as I said, immigrants who were indoctrinated by Islam from Central Asia; similarly the infiltration of Islam resulting from Indo-Persian influences, it's why the Indian sub-continent has suffered from Islamification and present day India is still suffering as it slowly submerges under a growing Islamic population from within and without.
