Suella was full of Sturm und Drang but I suspect that deep down her heart wasn't really in it. It's a bit unworldly to expect that somebody of her background would be really commited to the exclusion of fellow tribespeople.. I don't think that is true, if you ask migrants who have been settled in the UK for decades they too are fed up with the influx of illegals, no one is benefiting from this, except people traffickers and illegal migrants.

That's the word on the street, I suspect because people can't tell who is the illegal and who isn't, legal migrants don't want to be the target of disgruntled Brits.

It seems more likely to me that persons of migration background will be more inclined to want fewer of other migrants who don't share their particular background, but more reluctant to place obstacles in the way of fellow tribal members who wish to join them.
It would be a very great mistake to assume that any anti-migrant sentiment on the part of other, perhaps already settled migrants stems from any desire to protect the interests of the host population.

We aren't seeing women and children in these migrant boats, they are 99.9% young single men, and a vast majority from Albania.
I doubt many in this country have any tribal members of their family on those boats, these are just chancers looking to abuse the UK with criminal activity.

It always struck me tat anti-immigration sentiment comes from the same underlying drive that prompts immigrants to want more immigration. From that perspective, it's a bit peculiar that one position is seen as a legitimate pursuit of self interest and the other is considered nearly taboo.

After this atrocity in Dublin you have to feel for the decent immigrants who have lived peacefully there, the action of this migrant could make life difficult for them, once the Irish kick off it doesn't end well.

The boats are irrelevant in the larger scheme of things.
Over 300,000 immigrants arrived legally from the subcontinent in the y/e June 2023.
That's the most ever and happened during a period when UK immigration policy was defined and implemented by people who themselves originated in the subcontinent.
Coincidence? Accident? Design?

These 'legal' immigrants from the subcontinent are here because of previously struck deals and policies, and they are here to work and pay taxes, the fact that tens of thousands of illegal migrants who have no intentions of contributing positively to the UK the government has to overhaul the 'whole' of immigration system, including students, NHS and care workers, so you see illegals are ruining it for everyone.

That's the look what you made me do argument, ironically often used by islamic extremists and their apologists. The people who rioted chose to do so, they and they alone are responsible for their actions.

Correct, we have the figure head government, then we have the secret second chamber, they are the real powers and the ones calling the shots, so far they have got rid of Johnson, Truss, Braverman which stinks of the lefty remoaners.
