Stoke on Trent City Council has ruled out Ulez within the city boundary. The council, which became Labour-led in May ruled out Ulez traffic measures after a petition was launched by Tory MP Jonathan Gullis who declared "a victory for our residents". Jonathan Gullis said "It takes great bravery for Stoke-on-Trent Labour councilors to stand up against Labour colleagues such as Sadiq Khan who is ploughing on with Ulez expansion across Greater London and Labour Party Deputy Leader Angela Rayner who previously said that Ulez is coming to towns and cities across the United Kingdom. www.gbnews.com/news/ulez-latest-stoke-on-trent-labour-counciWho'd a thunk it. Common sense from a Labour council! Wonders never cease.
