I'm not sure I follow. How can Sunak achieve power if he's not in government? And he isn't forming a government, he did that 12 months ago, yes I agree Sunak's government is no different to Labour which is why he's in trouble. It's been said a million times, Sunak is not a Tory, he's a pro EU centrist. He is a multi millionaire. He doesn’t need political power . He needs the environment to be a multi billionaire . It's the same with Blair and Cameron (and possibly Starmer). They are a-political - practically no political convictions at all. UK politics is totally dominated by personalities with no interest at all in politics (the Blair model). This is one reason why nothing at all can be done on issues that concern the UK public very much, but repeated attempts are made again and again to do things nobody cares for or about |
