Very predictably all the usual suspects were wheeled out by the BBC to say that the "march" went off entirely peacefully with the exception of the "far Right" yobs who attacked the police. It's just laughable.
The obvious facts are that the police adopted "light touch" policing on the muslim march and didn't intervene even when the law was broken and they were attacked, but went in hard pre-emptively against the so-called "far Right" with the police wearing full riot gear and arrested over 100 people.
It's just shameful that this is our national broadcaster. Why can the BBC not tell the truth any more?

I've noticed the police are circulating lots of pictures and videos of people to be investigated. They obviously took a decision to deal with offences later rather than causing huge melees.

How come they can all be so wrong...?

It's proved that Suella Braverman has a point.

I see Mishal Hussein has been saying that the only violence at the marches was perpetrated by the "far Right". Why does the BBC call anyone they don't like the "far Right"? I have no idea what Tommy Robinson's political views are - or if he even has any. His views are strictly anti-islam and this is perfectly legal. In fact if anyone on this forum is actually pro-islam I'd challenge them to defend the charge that they're Nazis.
Ms Hussein completely ignores the fact that the police ALWAYS targeted EDL/ANti-islam marches in the past. Even when the EDL marches was OK'ed by the police and when it was the muslim counter-protesters who caused the violence and arrived fully prepared with weapons, the police left them alone and arrested people on the legal march - not the muslims.
The police are absolutely shit-scared of tackling muslims because they know that the Left will accuse them of racism.
