Excellent pre-election propaganda one of the reasons it didn't work is that only idiots would trust a right-wing government with the NHS. Just a thought, but before covid the NHS seemed to be doing OK, it has been a long while since lockdowns, Jabs etc, so what might be the excuse now for the current lack of being able to cope, I thought I would ask as a lot of people are very disappointed in its performance, while many think this is purely political led from the top.

Total bollocks the NHS could never handle the influx caused by winter.

It certainly happened to me.

I think we all know what happened with New Labours targets on waiting lists - the 4 hour wait in A&E was a classic, if you were in danger of going over 4 hours you were transferred to a 'Medical Assessment Unit' - more commonly known as a corridor.. The fiddling of the waiting list figures got so bad that the National Audit Office got called in who then declared that there had been 'deliberate manipulation' of system.

Do you have a link? I don't need one - I was there. But there is a thing called Google that may assist if you feel the need. I also remember that Labour did similar with the unemployment figures: They switched many of the long-term unemployed onto other benefits so that they could claim to have reduced unemployment. There are lies, damn lies and Labours statistics.

I would have thought the Socialist Worker [Other left wing publications are available] is more of a concern to anyone with an IQ in double figures. I don't know the facts but I often see people buying the Daily Mail I've never seen anyone buying the Socialist worker, in fact I've never even see it or any other seriously left wing paper for sale, and I visit many newspaper venders during my numerous coach travels. You are uncannily honest in saying you don't know the facts, but to be honest, few will be surprised. The Daily Mail sells c750,000 copies a day and is by far the most popular daily newspaper in the UK. On the other hand you will rarely see anyone buying the Socialist Worker because it sells c6000 copies a day. That kinda tells a story, doncha think?..

LOL, you're a laugh honestly. Righties are pushed out to the more extreme wings of politics. IMO the further left or right from the centre of politics a person goes the more their commonsense factor declines. If that were not the case they would not be on the outer wings of politics. Don't talk bloody daft. Like millions of ordinary sensible people in this country, I am centre right. That means, unfortunately, as far as outraged lefties are concerned I am a far right extremist. Lefties are always the same, they regard anyone who is not a lefty as a far right extremist. The left wing political spectrum goes from left wing straight to far right, there is no middle ground.

Our government had been in power for 10 years before Covid reached us. In all that time of austerity they didn't reduce borrowing a tiny bit. You Tories have such double standards. Gordon Brown didn't lower borrowing by enough in the goods times before the 2008 crash, appalling terrible typical Labour. Tories don't lower borrowing in the lead up to Covid. Blah blah, moaning labour supporters, look over there a dancing squirrel. Well the UK is in far better shape than your beloved EUSSR zany. By what measure is that. UK debt when labour took office 90.28% of GDP when the crash happened 93.6%The Tory years of cut backs and misery 2010.. 130.69% 2011.. 143.54% 2012.. 147.02% 2013.. 141.56% 2014.. 150.58% 2015.. 147.61% 2016.. 156.00% 2017.. 161.09% 2018.. 159.80% 2019.. 160.02% 2020.. 195.39%And all before Covid and Ukraine. How do you keep making such a fool of yourself without ever learning to check.

You surely don't think the Libdems had a say in it, do you. They had 57 seats to the Tories 306. Interesting though that despite the 2008 crash the only way the Tories could win was a coalition. The numbers are irrelevant. It was a Tory/LibDem coalition government with a LibDem deputy prime minister. Hahahahahahaha. Have you not even heard of voting
