Britain is a very tolerant country, which is one reason why so many immigrants want to come here. We have a tolerant culture, but we also have a virtually invisible police force now so even what laws we have are not often enforced.
However this creates a problem in that many of these immigrants come from highly intolerant countries and they don't reciprocate our tolerance. So the muslims (for example) who leave their own country because the sect they belong to isn't accepted there (e.g. Shias living in a mainly Sunni country) then don't extend that tolerance to people of other religions or sects of islam in Britain. We're seeing fighting on the streets between muslims and Hindus for example. And the Ahmadi muslims are hated by virtually every other muslim sect as being apostates.
In addition muslims reject our much vaunted "freedom of speech" when it involves, for example, the criticism of islam. They're happy to take advantage of it when they demand the right to march "in support of Palestine" but they viciously shut it down when a teacher takes a lesson on free speech in a school in Batley. The teacher is now in hiding and has lost his job and house. Yet nothing was done about this. Salman Rushdie suffered even worse treatment for writing the impenetrable "Satanic Verses" despite the fact that I doubt many muslims even read the book. Again no one was brought to justice for this. We even seem to have bowed down to their violent suppression of freedom of speech in that no one would ever make a satirical film about Islam (like Life of Brian). The pretence is that this is a matter of taste, but the fact is that they fear muslim violence.
Unfortunately the fact is that if we tolerate intolerance our country will rapidly become an intolerant country. We're sleep walking into a country that lives under sharia law. We need a PM with a backbone or our country will be just another muslim cesspit mired in civil war.

Sadly many Muslims are controlled by their feelings, to a higher degree to that which is normal, due to their self-indoctrinating religion which gives their emotional system higher control over their thinking logical brain. IMO, the re-education of Muslims about their self indoctrination of their religion is what is needed, but is highly unlikely to happen. They could begin quite easily by learning about two things. 1. The Brain Cannot Feel Anything At All. Thousands of operations have been done on the Brain without anesthetics, because the brain can only recognise feelings that are taking place outside of itself. But can't actually feel things for itself. 2. All incoming sensory information goes to the Amygdala (a small almond nut size part of the lower Brain) first. The Amygdala, working as an early warning system, immediately reacts (to already learnt information), by sending a message to the hormonal system if it recognises any actual danger or perceived danger. That almost instant thumping of the heart caused by a sudden threat of danger, is the pumping of adrenalin into the system. Triggered by the Amygdala. The sensory/emotional system feeds feelings into the Brain where the logical system tries to make sense of the feelings that arrive. Indoctrinate the emotional system to react in a certain way, then it will react in that certain way, it will then take control of the thoughts and actions coming from the mind. Most Muslims do not own the Islamic religion, it is the other way around, the religion owns them. |

The UK has been heading this way for years with this particular 'group' of people, and the Left endorse it which makes British society fractious even more, and allows them to gaslight the narrative. Just remember: Queers for Palestine. Is the notion reciprocal, we all know the answer to this. The Left's hypocrisy and idiocy ensures Britain is fast becoming a hell hole to live in. All thanks to the sermons and lectures of tolerance and inclusivity. pah. |
