Prior to Brexit, there were a substantial group of people still blaming Mrs Thatcher for every ill in society, real or imaginary – years after the poor woman left power and indeed had been dead for many of them.
It seems to me that Brexit now occupies that same mental space for obsessional people trying to fight lost battles long after everyone else has moved on.
It's got to be a form of mental illness, hasn't it?
