MI5 who are currently monitoring 43,000 people suspected of being possible terrorists the vast majority of whom are Muslims, offer internships which are open only to black and minority ethnic people. This is currently being discussed by Jacob Reese-Mogg on GB News.

Yes I heard that. JRM also mentioned that the BoE had the same policy. I'd like to hear dappy's response to this because he's regularly claiming that this is illegal - even though I've pointed out that it's going on all over the country and the Equality law is so full of vague statements and exceptions that it's NOT illegal.

The law says it is illegal to base recruitment decisions to jobs on race. Rightly so. The law doesn’t define internships as jobs.
My own view is that doing so is not the right way to go. As MI5 does have a reputation for new recruits being overwhelmingly establishment public school kids, it is therefore right, if it wants to maximize the potential of its recruits, to seek to facilitate a path from kids without that privileged background. A look on Google does show that this internship does specify disadvantaged backgrounds. However by targeting BAME disadvantaged interns, they do seem to have ignored working class white boys. That feels like an opportunity missed to me.

Could it be that you cant infiltrate a black organisation or community if you are white?

He applied to join the police and was told that all places for white entrants had been taken, without an interview he was invited to reapply in two years time. He was barred from joining the police because he had white skin, and anti white racism is widespread. There are many similar links, however I accept that you Dappy will for some reason be unable to find them... link - link - link - link

Could it be that you cant infiltrate a black organisation or community if you are white? I cant be bothered to go into it now, but I have previously listed the number of black only organisations that quite legally exist in this country, there are loads of them. However, this is not racism. If on the other hand you suggested an organisation for white people, I imagine it would be a matter of minutes before you were arrested and charged with hate speech crimes, or similar.

It is and always been quite sweet and amusing how often Red fails to read the links he provides and hence how often they blow the story he is trying to argue out of the water. As in this case. The very first lines of first two links state that it is illegal for the police (or anyone else) to base their recruitment on race. In terms of Red's son, it is just about possible that his son didn't get the job at Dorset police due to illegal race discrimination. Unlikely given that long after the date of application, Dorset Police only had one black officer so if they had done so, it was spectacularly unsuccessful but theoretically possible. Given that Dorset's Police management would have known that such action was illegal, it is completely inconceivable that they would have openly told Red's son that they were illegally discriminating against him. As has been pointed out many times before, I am afraid Red is simply lying when he repeats this story over and over again.
