Nicola Sturgeon 'deleted' key Covid WhatsApp messages from phone - 'What are they trying to hide?' WhatsApp messages on Covid-19 sent by Nicola Sturgeon were manually deleted from her phone. The former First Minister is among several senior government officials who say that the data no longer exists. Others who have said that the messages can no longer be accessed include current First Minister Humza Yousaf and former Deputy First Minister John Swinney. Scottish Labour Deputy Leader Jackie Baillie has criticised the SNP for the missing messages, accusing the party of being untrustworthy. She said these bombshell revelations call into question what the SNP government is trying to hide. Humza Yousaf said his government would co-operate fully with the Covid inquiries, but this promise has been left in tatters. www.gbnews.com/politics/nicola-sturgeon-snp-deleted-key-covid-messages

..and here was her assurance that all the communications would be turned over to the Public Inquiry.. sturgeon's time will come. I for one am dying to know why she sat relatively inactive in terms of pursuing her parties main reason for existence for 9 years , and destroying the unity of the yes movement with her childish obsession with gender amongst much else. Interestingly , Redfield and wilton , one of the least friendly pollsters to yes in Scotland , have support for independence on 49.5% in the last poll . So the base is there to move Scotland independent , with the over 65s the only group in Scotland with a majority for the union. all Scotland needs now is a leader , and a party to act as the vehicle for the yes movement as we had under Salmond. so be careful what you wish for Pacifico. Rather than sturgeons shenanigans taking down independence support , I would say the opposite is more likely ,and it's likely to galvanise support for breaking out of the union. Many pro indy Scots are cheering on efforts to bring her down , and cleanse the current nu snp of the careerist benchwarmers , and childlike gender obsessed nutters in coalition with the lamentable Green Party , who should never ever be put anywhere near the reigns of power again.

LOL thomas - I don't wish for anything. Scottish Independence is a non issue south of the Border, it is an argument between people living in Scotland that has been going on for decades and will go on for decades to come.

Sturgeon's Covid strategy seemed to be based on seeing what Boris was going to do, then doing something more extreme to try to make him look bad. I don't think there was much "science" involved, just a vindictive streak to lock down harder, mask more, restrict and control more and close even more businesses.
I'm sure the WhatsApp messages would have shown her up in exactly that way.

We have told Tommo this several times, he think that because we rip the piss out of the SNP we don't want to be free of Scotland, hopefully Wales would follow them.

I think thomas seems to believe that Scottish Independence is an issue that comes up regularly on the doorstep or that we have meetings in the Church hall where we all earnestly discuss the pros and cons..
In my area we are more likely to discuss sheep rustling...

If people in England think Scottish independence is a non issue , then why are so many English people on this forum coming into a section of the forum that is specifically entitled Scottish politics and news , to post snp bad stories? Red rackham ,an Englishman , posts the original story and started this thread , you commented further not one but twice before I posted. Your actions mate speak louder than the empty words.

Why are you on the Scottish threads then incessantly talking about a party that supports Scottish indy? I have a great sense of humour ommy , but if you are trying to tell me its all about one big joke then i have to say mate you are about as funny as a fucking hole in the heart. The minute something is posted about the snp , you are on Scottish threads like a fly landing on shite . They seem to live in your head daily ommy.
