There is a belief spreading through the ultra religious Jewish community, both in Israel and elsewhere, that the Messiah is here (the Messiah of the Jews ... not the Messiah of the Christians ... the Jewish Messiah is seen as a war leader sent by God to give Israel victory over its enemies). Several Rabbis have claimed that Netanyahu is in contact with him and will shortly announce his presence. They still reject him because they are blinded (Romans 11:7) When Israel will have their spiritual blindness removed is debateable. Netanyahu doesn't claim to know anything in that article. He seems to be using Isaiah in scripture to rally his country. |
