It was a open cheque book from the start for anyone directly involved in the project, all you have to do is take a look at the main players and their financial status now, and make them accountable if they have money (including family members) that can't be accounted for, this isn't just embezzling a few thousand here and there, this is on a fraud scale of multi-millions, and the tax payers demand answers. They won't do anything about it .Oh they might have an 'enquiry' of some sort ,recommend action to take in the future , identify problems , restructure procurement procedure ect , all those sort of things that mean jack shite . Its the gravy chain that all politicians seek to get aboard at some point during their term . Ive seen it in action at the count at the local elections .OK its not on the grand scale of HS2 but you can see the elected doing the high five around the hall ,jumping about as if they had scored the winner in the cup final . They don't do that because they get to decide what day Acacia walk gets their bins emptied they do it because they are about to get rich . So yes lets look at the financial status of the main players , starting with the politicians and who was handing out the contracts

Like the Kangaroo court enquiry in to Boris Johnson that was overseen by Harriet Harman, it's just a excuse to waste more public money, giving the likes of Harman a bumper pay packet and all the perks that go with it, if anyone should have stood in front of a enquiry it should have been Harman and her boss Tony Blair, facing war crime charges, including criminal ones.
We'll never see that money again HS2, just like the billions lost in the furlough fraud, like the billions being given to owners of hotels to house illegals, Councils going bust all over the country and no one accountable to where they've used the money ......... WTF it's only tax payers money .... who gives a fuck.
