Perhaps for that reason, our community expect that other communities who are in need receive the same treatment…” The Board of Deputies of British Jews in 2023:
“A British Jewish leader warned of the rise in antisemitic attacks in the UK, resulting from the war in Israel and urged members of the Jewish community to be alert. We must now be alert to the possibility of a rise in antisemitic incidents here in the UK and encourage all British Jews to remain vigilant,” wrote Michael Weiger, CEO of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, on social media.” But despite all the obvious downsides with calling for more refugees from Muslim countries, they never seem to learn, do they? “Alf Dubs, the veteran Labour peer and former child refugee, has called for the creation of a resettlement scheme for Palestinians with family connections to Britain and those in need of medical aid.” |

I have read about one third of the article, the article is IMO lacking in clarity it being too controlled by one persons approach and opinions. I like to see balance in debates, and this article seems to lack balance. I might read more later. I am not aware of the Jews being directly in favour of Muslim immigration anywhere. |
