You have touched on a point that I made some time ago, we are in the absurd situation whereby the Scots are blaming the English because the Scots voted to remain in the Union and the English have had no opportunity to vote on whether they wish to remain in a union with Scotland or not. I would prefer to retain the Union, but only if the three other countries were enthusiastic participants, but they don't seem to be, however they are content to take our money then bitch about us. In the case of Scotland it seems to being heading for a self destruct situation with the "progressive left" shower they have voted into power, they make the Great Train Robbers look like pickpockets. and take with them all hope of Starmer ever escaping opppsition. Tony Blair won 3 elections with a big English majority. Wilson won in 1966 and 1974 (Oct) without the need of Scottish seats. 1945 was the same |

It would be absurd, if it were true. But as is the way with you, you have difficulty with the concept of the truth. When have Scots blamed the English for us losing the Referendum? It is all in your mind! We don't take any money from you! Scot Gov has to balance the books and successive Governments have done just that. What comes to Scot Gov is much less than the sum going to the exchequer in taxation from Scotland. Facts are chiels that winna ding and your grasp of 'facts' is obviously lacking. |

Well, the proof of the pudding doesn't indicate that, if the Scottish children are so well educated why are they not bright enough to see through the SNP and their lies? The SNATS don't love Scotland, they love power.
Trashing the education system gives them power.
Wasting money on themselves and needless bureaucracy gives them power.
They do not care about the ordinary people across the whole country who pay for devolution.
They couldn't balance a bicycle never mind the books.

They didn't balance the books with the ferries, or education, or NHS or the COVID assistance money provided by Westminster, none of it can be accounted for which is why the financial audits weren't signed off.

The 'missing' money is a party issue within the SNP. It has nothing to do with the money returned to Scotland. If Scot Gov failed to balance the books a financial penalty would have been imposed! |
