The UK which is a sovereign country already has independence. Hold a UK wide referendum and abolish devolution. the united kingdom is a sovereign multi national state. that multi national state held a uk wide referendum , called brexit , in 2016 , but only three of the four constiuent nations left the EU.
So if one nation got its own way over brexit , why cant wales and scotland have devolution as the vast majority voted for?
You cant argue one nation one vote , then constantly dismiss that when it suits.

The Devolutionist route the SNP has taken has resulted in the loss of many experienced activists in the last few years. Sturgeon took us down that route, Yousaf is continuing with the stupidity. The aim of the SNP is Independence. It most certainly is not to have more powers delivered to Holyrood but, since Sturgeon became leader, that is all that has been on offer. Yousaf is continuing with the same line. The people left in the Party must take things in hand and get rid of Yousaf and the rest of the dodgy leadership. I just read an article about the by-election. It said that Independence was not to the fore in the manifesto, that position was seemingly given to GRR (a voter turn off) and, because of that, activists didn't turn out to help. They had to bus people in, and pay them to deliver leaflets! All that and no saltires present. We all need PR.
