The Football Association’s chief executive officer, Mark Bullingham, hailed a “brilliant day” for the UK and Ireland after it was confirmed they will stage the men’s European Championship in 2028.
The following picture shows the award ceremony at EUFA headquarters in Nyon with invited representatives prominently featured in their national colours.
From left to right: Wales, Gareth Bale Bid Ambassador, Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin, Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England. Giving the benefit of the doubt, the NI representative appears to be only white man representing any of the five nations.
I wonder who signed off on this insulting fiasco?

Is this one of your passive aggressive racist posts? Don't we have enough hatred going on at the moment, Dan?

Perhaps we do, but are you happy with the selection of representatives who have been chosen to represent the population of the British Isles? And the message it sends both home and abroad?

There does seem to be a deliberate effort to under represent white people.

There does seem to be a deliberate effort to under represent white people. Shame if the under representation of White people is because there’s a lack of ability, interest or work ethic among the White populations from which administrators and players could be drawn. I assume each of the administrations, at the function, chose who they considered to be best for the role. Having said that, there’s certainly a problem for English players, of all heritages, getting into the senior leagues because of the preference of clubs for signing players from overseas…

I think that there was a deliberate effort to under represent white people in the presentation.

Do you have a list of the personnel and/or representatives available for the various functions and roles…?

I only need an obvious over representation of ethnic groups . Oh look , I’ve got one .

The announcement was all about looking ahead, and I think a decent stab at an accurate representation of 2028, with the best foresight they could muster, has been achieved. I predict Euro 2028 will be a Carnival of Diversity, hosted by a UK preparing itself to soon embrace the 2nd term of the Starmer Government .... Wembley will be one big glitter ball.
Northern Ireland beat Romania 1-0 in the final thanks to an offside goal incorrectly awarded after a VAR mix-up.

@ Bentley
You contend that there are more non-White representatives in the line up because of “a deliberate effort to under represent white people”…

@ Bentley You contend that there are more non-White representatives in the line up because of “a deliberate effort to under represent white people”… I think there was a deliberate effort to under represent white people. I have told you why I think it . I have not attributed a reason as to why . That was your fabrication .

There does seem to be a deliberate effort to under represent white people. White people are underrepresented in the professional game - perhaps we need quotas to ensure fairness?
