What Keir Starmer told Pink News is a sign of things to come. Hate crime legislation is already a problem, allowing individuals to make complaints to the police about things that aren’t even crimes — being ‘misgendered’, for instance. There is ample reason to worry about how the existing law is being used but Starmer wants to double down, saying... ...“it’s time for tougher hate crime laws so every LGBT+ crime is treated as an aggravated offence.” It went down a storm with his audience at the Pink News Awards. But raises the prospect of law-abiding people facing an aggravated sentence for a social media post that uses the ‘wrong’ pronouns. Even Orwell didn't envisage this. unherd.com/thepost/what-keir-starmer-told-pink-news-is-a-sign-of-things-to-come/Project fear? I agree, a woke Labour government is a frightening prospect.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's another hung Parliament.
Keir Starmer is not exactly a charismatic man. He does not come across as assertive. There is very little about Labour that says "leadership".
They are still quite rudderless.
All parties appear uninspiring.
I wouldn't be surprised if the turnout is down compared to 2019.

And if they make Izzard a candidate, that'll not go well for Labour.

The Labour party have announced that if they get into power they will lock people up in prison for calling a man a man.

The Labour party have announced that if they get into power they will lock people up in prison for calling a man a man. That should be a very good policy for Labour. In fact, anyone telling the truth should be put into prison. (When they've freed up some space by releasing real crims first).

The Labour party have announced that if they get into power they will lock people up in prison for calling a man a man. Don't talk daft. This would bring transphobic abuse into line with assault and harassment motivated by hatred on the grounds of race or religion, which are punishable by up to two years in prison. A senior Tory source said: “Some police forces have shown themselves overzealous in the pursuit of supposed hate crimes and this reform would send them a signal to go even further. I love it when a senior Tory criticises his own government policy.

Release the criminals and use prisons to lock up everyone who challenges Labour's Orwellian lunacy.

The seeming policy within Labour to only listen to one side of the debate around issues like trans-genderism is something that Labour has very wrong and needs to address - You can sense there is growing pushback about some of the rhetoric and nonsense around this identity politics which Labour seemingly thoroughly embrace.
A desire by some to shut down free speech and debate on this and similar topics is something that puts people off voting for them.

A man claiming to be a trans ''woman'' was sentenced recently for abducting and sexually abusing a girl whilst dressed as a woman. He is known by male and female names (not the same idea as drag queens a la Lily Savage/Danny la Rue who were always men and didn't pretend otherwise) It was said he couldn't have managed the abduction if he had not been dressed in women's clothes - Incredibly there is a query as to which sex prison he will be held in. There shouldn't be any question that he should be held in a high security male prison www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/trans-butcher-who-abducted-sexually-31208355news.sky.com/story/transgender-butcher-admits-abducting-and-sexually-abusing-schoolgirl-12883405

And if they make Izzard a candidate, that'll not go well for Labour. I should coco. Jeez, imagine bumping into Labour candidate ' Suzi' LOL. Mothers would be picking their screaming kids up and running in panic. He/she/it/they/them, is more reminiscent of a horror film baddie than a parliamentary candidate.

If he wants his cock and balls removed by surgery, it doesn't give him a womb and ovaries instead. People can do whatever they want to their own bodies so long as they don't harm others, but if they want to try to hide from justice behind "transgenderism", they shouldn't be able to. The law should prevent it. And the far left gender recognition proposals go too far.

Also, and regardless of trendy fads, until science comes up with a way of changing chromosomes people will die the same sex as they were born.

What is it about Suzie Izzard that makes you say she isn't a woman?
