So the next Tory leader looks like it will be another woman with Braverman, Mordaunt and Badenoch all fighting it out.
Why are the Tories so open to women and ethnic minorities as Leaders when Labour are still wedded to the middle aged white men model?. Looking at the performance of Tory women and ethnic minorities as leader are Labour in fact correct?

Apparently men who want to be leader of the British Conservative party are as rare as hens teeth, and it would seem that white men who want to be leader, are even rarer than hen's teeth. This must be a bit awkward for lefties who insist, perhaps sheepishly, that the Tories are a party of racists.

It seems like it is the Tory woman who have the balls and not the Tory men.

I like JRM but he's not interested in any leadership bid, and tbh I think he's too polite to be a leader. I agree, the 'coloured babes' do seem to have bigger balls than Tory men and I like what they say, but lets not forget they are playing to an audience. They know Conservative voters want a leader to be Conservative and a leadership election may be around the corner. By the way, have you noticed that as we get ever closer to the election, Labour have gone very quiet on net zero.

Obvious issue for the Tories in planning their next leader in the event of losing the next election is working out which of their potential candidates would survive the election defeat. If the Tories do lose, I wonder who will provide the “Portillo moment”

It won't matter, the next two governments will be Labour... with the second one probably a tiny majority (or even a coalition) at which point Raynor and her supporters decide enough is enough, and they stab Starmer in the front and take over.
In three elections time it will be Raynor vs probably another women... or god forbid Farrage lol.

It doesnt matter, the Tories need to be voted out for the sake of everyone. When i retired a decade ago, people were coming into my profession who could hardly string a sentence together, had tattoos, dressed like hippies, hadnt a clue why they were there, and solidly didnt give a toss.
The quality at the top of politics is likewise grim, look at Starmer still spouting meaningless nonsense, Davey is mad, Sunak a schoolboy, May is still an MP she should have been hung drawn and quartered. Any new Tory leader does not have the stuff.
