www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-67043218Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he said: "We will use the money from abolishing the non-dom status. That's where the super-rich don't pay their tax in this country. I think they should."This is a blatant lie aimed at the stupidly ignorant. All Non-Dom's pay tax in this country. They pay £25k to allow them Non-Dom status so that they are NOT DOUBLE TAXED on their foreign based income. If they bring ANY OF THAT INCOME into the UK they are taxed on it. Pray tell Sir Liar Starmer, how the fuck do they live in this country with no income? It is IMPOSSIBLE to for them to pay no tax in the UK, because all UK income is taxed in the UK, all foreign income brought into the UK is taxed in the UK.

and as usual he has spent this money he hopes to get from the non-doms 3 times over - thats if he gets any money anyway as non-doms by definition are not UK domiciled and can easily take themselves (and their taxes) to another jurisdiction.

Anyone who thinks Starmer doesn't tell lies, watch this. And take note, this is not from GB news, or the Telegraph. This is from Novara Media, a 'left wing' media organisation. Enjoy...

Exactly, why would you stay in the UK and get double-taxed on your foreign income? That brings us onto another Labour lie when they compare it to the higher tax band. This is nothing like changing a tax band, this is about taxing people twice on the same income! Let's see how much the working class like it when all their favourite foreign footballers leave the country because they facing being double-taxed!

Well yes, we have one of the lowest tax burdens in the West (despite most of us moaning about high taxes lol). If you scrap non-dom then their foreign income is going to be double-taxed which is going to flip that advantage.
