Turning off a few lights will make very little difference to global warming, I agree. Leading the world and developing green technologies will make a massive difference around the world. The UK taking a lead will put us on the world table. Isn't that what Brexit was all about, UK leading and not following? Well personally I'm not interested in leading anyone anywhere. You might want to be a leader strutting your stuff on the world stage, but I would much prefer being a quiet, irrelevant little backwater.. The world table, is just another way of saying the WEF will be handed all control. |

Martin Brudermüller the CEO of BASF said the company could not afford western (green) energy costs. Meanwhile China the biggest coal based economy in the world gets stronger by the day. Is happening. Global warming is not a projection it is a fact. First they project it, then you are told they must control how you live your life. Then the psychologists take over. Which is the usual fear first then control. I think global warming is worthy of being told how to live our lives, when it comes society will break down, money will be worthless and murder will be common, think about it. Do people seriously believe "it will just get a bit warmer" and "we will adapt", just ask the Venusians. |

While we were pumping millions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and poisoning our planet for decades the Chinese and the rest of Asia contributed nothing to global warming, now they are and we should be at the front helping them go green. The western world caused this catastrophe and we expect the others to say "OK, we won't use oil". |

Global catastrophe is not like anything we have ever seen before, things will change. Venus may well have had the same problem as we have not, the atmosphere is about 90% CO2 but instead of us burning fossil fuels to release CO2 volcanoes did the same job. |
