It seems the confidence of those in charge is such that overt lying is acceptable. Where else does obvious and permaneny lying occur?, yes Russia. White lies may or may not be acceptable, but lying like this, constantly, is a sure sign of malignanacy, that something is very wrong.
It is the left defending the left, and in doing so engaging in criminality and not caring, and in that action, flicking the bird to you and me. Should you be worried?, you bet, society is breaking down, fast, you cant rely on Britain doing the right thing anymore.

If you express anti climate change like GB News, they will tell you that you cant say that eventually, and you can rope in whatever more. Like being scornful of the obsession with sex and trans stuff, using the right language, racism, that black racism against whites cannot be challenged, the BBC, they lost the plot generations ago. You will pay the licence fee.
And anything else that they are moved to get you on. You will be reduced to a slave.
