As Madam is unwell, i run everything. Ive just been shopping, and bought our usual items for seventy two pounds. Usually its about fifty five. My car was three quarters empty, so i filled it up to the top. fifty five quid there. A big increase.
People who have addictions to alcohol, gambling and tobacco etc are in big trouble. I used to smoke cigars, five of my brand now cost twelve quid, and would last about three to four days, multiply that up. Include all the other increases. Addicted people will blame the government when their life implodes financially.
To what degree is that true? Keeping in mind that the average ability of the average person to manage their own finances isnt great. Any need to economise will be met with outrage.
The British public are like squealing brats demanding sweets constantly, which all parties feed for the votes. There is no saying no without severe repercussions. Which is a big reason why this country was bankrupt before covid. The tragedy is that those that this crisis will hit will suffer appalingly, the accumulated blow back from decades ago.
On GB news it came to light that the water companies have charged us for improving infrastructure which hasnt happened. With raw sewagw being pumped into the rivers and sea, they will charge us again.
Surely these people must face a criminal court. There is no winning. Socialism, communism is as corrupt as it gets. And so it seems, are private companies. Anglian water, my provider, its logo is love every drop. It should be love every pound.
