How long did that arsehole sit on the fence for? He doesn't know himself what side it hangs. You're totes wrong. He has been a leaver all his life, he hated the EU. He constantly spoke out against it in parliament. During the referendum he nominally supported Remain, as leader of the Labour Party, but was hidden away for the entire campaign. So you had Corbyn a leaver supporting remain, and BoJo a remainer supporting leave. That's how ridiculous it all was.

But who, apart from property developers, ACTUALLY benefits from a return to the 100% of the workforce enduring a two to three hour commute ? Especially when there is no physical product output. Workplace working only makes sense to those who profit from leeching off it and those industries - and i MEAN INDUSTRIES - who MUST have their workforce travel to a workplace to work, like those who produced the car parts at the assembly line whose systems i helped automate. I was forced to get up at six thirty in order to be in tbe car at seven fifteen in order to be standing before the clocking in machine by eight but It made no sense for me to endure the cost and time wasting and stress of that when MY job was to receive change requests and work orders and create or modify windows, android or web software to implement those changes and DO those on a bloody laptop. I only ever NEEDED to be there when a physical presence was needed for some aspect of an installation. So unless the problem is that people do what you INspect not what you EXpect for which physical bums on physical seats is your solution. OR you are a rabid control freak, i’m really struggling to see what a return to victorian workhouse values brings to a Civil ServiceWell since the Civil Service embraced shirking from home service levels to the customers have collapsed. If you telephone and get through to someone sitting on their sofa they cannot help because all the forms needed are in the office.. but the ‘forms’ are on the server. I effing put many there personally. I mean is this just something you have heard, or has it happenned to you personally.

Yes - the Passport Office even cited that one of the excuses for poor service were staff not being in the office

What corby states and what is reality is another matter like all the left liars he utters what he thinks the electorate prefer to hear.

So you had Corbyn a leaver supporting remain, and BoJo a remainer supporting leave. That's how ridiculous it all was. except we know Boris publicly switched sides for personal power and glory while corbyn publicly said sod all. In the ideal world you might indeed find a candidate with a lifelong and publicly expressed adherence to beliefs and policy issues very near to your own I have already stated a respect for and even admiration of a man who eloquently explains a long adherence to a political position i detest, but i won’t be voting for them. I would vote for a man who chooses to jump onto my bandwagon for his personal gain even if he were a lifelong opponent of it prior to that. But they would need to be watched for wgen the next lig floated by. But i did not vote for the tories. Not because of Boris who i would have voted for. Not because of the policies which i have believed in. But because the candidate was the daughter of a corrupt crook who left Labour when they would not give his wife a post as a council officer when he started canvassing party cronies to get her the job while the death certificate of the predecessor was still unsigned and they hadn’t moved him to the morgue, and left Plaid Cymru when his demand for a bribe in the form of jobs for his wife and daughter from party funds or public expense as his price for not resigning the whip was met with condemnation from Plaid’s then leader, and a cheque and two job offers from the then, and recently reinstated, Welsh Tory leader. Changing politics for personal reward is one thing Getting that reward as a bribe funded by the tax payer however is quite another
