... Dyscalculia.
Dyscalculia is a disorder that affects the ability to understand number-based information.
The reporter used "Three short years" when he spoke to Mcconnell ... who then became confused. The reporter then used "in 2026" ... Mcconnell became even more confused.
The previous incident in which Mcconnell "froze" involved him thinking about issues that he may have given a number to ... and thinking of the number caused his confusion.
This "disorder" caused by thinking about numbers in relationship to other modes of thought is not uncommon in elderly people.
A few months before he died my landlord told me that he was not making any money from the rents he gets from the house I live in ... "It's all going on Council Tax". The rents total is £500/week... the Council Tax for the house is £40/week. He'd compared the weekly rents with the Quarterly Council Tax Bill.
I noticed that if one used numbers when talking to him it appeared to confuse him.
