Whatever our puppet government say is to distract us from the threat to our freedom.
Yes it's a GB News video which will obviously have lefties reaching for the off button as they scream 'wont somebody think of the children'. But if they faught their natural urge to scream at anything they disagree with they would see that, like many Tory voters, Neil Oliver is very critical of this government and makes some very good points.

Afraid I couldn't sit through the whole 12 minutes of that nonsense. A little too much hyperbole and not enough fact for me. He is entitled to his view of course. Perhaps you could summarise what you think are the key points.

That's a pity, Dappy. If you want to actually understand why UK politics is plagued by populist and anti-establishment currents, you could far worse than listen to Neil and try to build his picture.
He is also a quite competent communicator

He is a very competent presenter. His Coast programme was excellent. I tried to listen but gave up as hyperbole followed hyperbole. Overplayed his hand in my view. Obviously entitled to his view however. What were his key points in your view.

Fair enough. What were they?

Fair enough. What were they? If you cant be bothered to watch a 12 minute video, I cant be bothered to discuss it with you.

I agree with dappy. It's not just lazy, it's also bad form to demand that members have to watch a complete video in order to become acquainted with the salient points of an argument.

I am not demanding anything. If you want to comment on a video a prerequisite would surely be to watch it first? Perhaps 12 minutes too taxing for for some peoples attention span.

You could just summarise the salient points and then if they sound interesting I might be motivated to watch the video.

It's an excellent video from Neil Oliver. He has a knack of seeing through the smokescreen and highlighting what is hidden behind it. One world government and tight controls seem to be the objective.
