There you have it folks, Labour doing what the Tories can't, covering up their corrupt Labour Liverpool Council, if Liverpool was a Tory council BIG Gob Rayner and bullish Starmer would demand these findings were made public, yet again the same old double standard hypocritical lefties.
The findings of a long-running investigation into conduct at Liverpool Council will not be made public.
Last summer, Bristol-based law firm TLT LLP was tasked with leading a scope into the local authority’s records to establish whether there is any evidence of “improper influence in the council’s decision making arising from the actions of former Mayor Joe Anderson and former senior officers.” The investigation was launched at the behest of Liverpool Council’s external auditors Grant Thornton, who said they could not sign off on historic accounts until the scope was completed.

Not good but since Liverpool is a basket case reliant on government money I rather suspect that report might well get published. There does seem to be a legal reason for delaying it but a blanket 'never' is clearly very wrong.

It is not up to Liverpool Council to decide if they should publish the findings of a inquiry in to 'improper influence', in other words fraud, and backhanders.
Remembering how Labour fought so hard with every last breath to have a inquiry in to Partygate, now here they are trying to cover up a inquiry in to their own misconduct, ....... LOL you couldn't make this shit up if you tried.
