If people wish to volunteer their services to a charity that’d be fine but they don’t there’s a whole raft of people on high salaries or expenses too. Its the fact that the C of E has assets of billions yet plead poverty and go begging nonetheless,it’s not just that many register as charities for the tax breaks it’s a con trick. |

Personally I would prefer any support for illegal immigrants to be from charity funds and not government ones .
That means from the moment that they arrive to the moment that they leave .

I'd refine that a bit. From the moment we have probable cause to believe they are illegal (including leaving a safe country to seek asylum) And can't have them roaming the land stealing stuff and worse, I'd provide them free accomodation and basic food - on South Georgia (other less than desirable remote islands are available) |

I think that it time we fully understood the position of our Government, the forces of darkness have removed the elected leaders of the Conservative Party and PM twice now, they have inserted the puppet Ricky in place who will go along with anything in order to remain PM.
This is why the Police are ineffective and politised, the hard left Marxist woke agenda has been encouraged to infect the NHS, Civil Service, (alarmingly) the Forces, the Judiciary, the State Broadcaster, the Banks, the Border Force and the Media.
You are right, the citizens of the UK have been sold down the river by the Conservatives, will be even more shafted if Starmer and his horrid henchpersons get near power, but we are faced with no alternative, at the moment anyway, we can only hope someone will come along.

They were wonderful helping my dying brother and his family in his last weeks, they did similar when one of my friends was dying a few years ago and that's something they do day after day week after week. And yet if you had your sad way they and the many similar charities across the UK would be cut off from funding. How do you sleep nights? stmichaelshospice.com/ |

Are you really attempting to conflate a hospice with a charity scam like Care4Calais who have only been around since 2015 but in that short period of time have racked quite a rap sheet. The 'charity' has been investigated for alleged serious misconduct, misappropriation of funds, serious governance concerns, mismanagement by trustees and to top it off, the founder of the so called charity Clare Mosely was shagging an illegal in Calais. And you compare this sham charity to a hospice? Shame on you. |
