why not? - do you normally dive into signing contracts where you dont know the terms of those contracts? We did with the Brexit vote. We voted on whether to leave without negotiating what leaving would mean. And please don't try to tell me we had no need to negotiate our relationship because we were big boys now and didn't need the EU. I knew what leaving would mean - it would mean we were no longer in the EU. What did you think it would mean?.. If you decide to leave your golf club are you confused about what would happen?

Oh wow, you speak for the people. Sorry to rain on your parade but the polls disagree with you. Is it 52 48 yet? 60 40.

Can we have a few more pages of Rishi being a gutless coward rather than have a trannie debate? The best thing Rishi has done recently is open up more gas and oil licences. He needed a tad of courage to sign that one off against all the cultists. Agreed. I'm pro stopping climate change but if we need to use gas for the foreseeable future it might as well be ours.

I have explained many times, there is an easy way telling if its to keep prices down and not international profiteering, it is how they store it.

Well there's only a few years of gas left so best keep it for us.

Wait for it, just before the mass profiteering starts they will need to remove the price cap.I have no idea if they will get away with it, they probably will, they usually do.

Of course he is, for Christs sake he has given Macron £500 million to stop the illegal invasion yet the illegal invasion increases by the day. Sunak is going through the motions of being outraged with the illegal invasion while at all times doing absolutely nothing to stop it. So giving money to France makes you a committed Europhile? I don't think you've actually thought that logic through... It's not just the illegal invasion from the EU is it. Sunak's so called 'Windsor framework' is little more than total capitulation to the EU. Northern Ireland is a part of the UK yet to all intense and purposes it's governed from Brussels. Anyone who is of the opinion that Sunak is not pro EU is not paying attention. Sunak claims to be a right wing Brexit supporting prime minister because he knows it's popular with the majority of the electorate, but this claim is not backed up by his actions.

Sunak is going through the motions of being outraged with the illegal invasion while at all times doing absolutely nothing to stop it. Yet the French: Official figures show that just 13,759 – or 45.2 per cent – of migrants have been stopped by French beach patrols since January, down from 17,032 (45.8 per cent) over the same period last year. That's 13,759 Migrants stopped. Oh ffs, you sound like Sunak. ZG, rather than focusing on the tiny percentage the French have briefly stopped. Lets look at the numbers the French have allowed to put to sea then escorted them to UK waters. So far this year (Jan to 24 Aug) the French have allowed 20,000 illegals to cross the channel and according to Home Office figs 105,000 have crossed since 2018. Who knows what the actual figure might be. The hotel bill alone is costing the British tax payer more than £7 million a day and is changing the UK forever. Macron and the EU are laughing at Sunak, if only he could see it.

Though I would agree that we should be doing all we can to stop the boats ,That Sunak needs replacing the fella Tice is proving to be a bit of a twat . The right wing alternative to the mainstream parties deserves better The acts he quotes as the ammunition we should be using to turn the boats back to France don't actually say anything about Asylum seekers . I hope someone can point me to the text he is on about (maybe I missed it) because I can't see anything in either that would back him up . That's the problem with sticking to legislation penned in 1948 (Adopted in 1951) in the shadow of WW2 when the world was a very different place. Lefties cling to outdated legislation like Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of human rights 1948 which recognizes the right of persons to seek asylum from persecution in other countries. It does not give illegals the right to pay criminals to get them from one safe country to another safe country. But that is exactly what it's being used for. If Sunak had any balls he would withdraw from outdated legislation that is so obviously no longer fit for purpose.

They do that every year. That and your use of the word "allowed" rather than "couldn't stop" Like doctors "allowed" a million people to die, rather than "couldn't stop" a million people dying.

The Tory party have made a shite job of running the country, so they'll never get elected. Sunak too little too late.
