As far as I can see, when push comes to shove, most Brits don't want to rejoin the EU and I very much doubt that the EU wants us back.
There is sod all that can be done to stop illegal immigration.
The Tories are reluctantly gearing themselves to shovel sack loads of cash into our massively incompetent and ever whingeing social services and the Labour high command has twigged that the bulk of the population are leery of shovelling sack loads of cash into our massively incompetent and ever whingeing social services, so there will be bugger all differences between the spending plans of either party
In fact there is not much difference between the parties and the next election will be about slinging one set of rascals out and installing a very similar set of rascals in their place.
So let us have Boris back. He wants low taxes, which is bollocks because everyone wants low taxes but an every increasing Welfare State, but it will be fun to see him try. He is anti EU, which is ok because as said before, the EU does not want us back either. And all the time he is married to Carrie there will be a stream of animal rights legislations, which has to be to the good. But most of all, he adds to the gaiety of the nation, which is something the current set of dreary buggers don't seem to manage.
How say you ?

Nothing can be done until we stand up to that little French dictator Macron, he's behind it, no point even thinking about it until someone in government grows a backbone and stands up to the little twerp, even Boris was shit scared of him.

Admittedly, when a man marries his mother he becomes an unknown quantity and hard to deal with, but if anyone can deal with him it will be Boris

I fear that many of our ills today stem from the brief but chaotic period under Boris.
He lied, got most things wrong, didn't bother about detail, was under the influence of his woke missis, was distrusted by almost all foreigners, lost control of the country during covid and most importantly was too lazy, arrogant and stupid to prevent his enemies from booting him out.
But I agree, he is better than Ricky or Sir Kneel Alot.

Boris was elected by a historic wave of opinion.
I'm not convinced his many flaws warranted the democratic price of telling the uk people they don't get decide anything. I also don't think he was removed because of his flaws. A large part of the brief, but chaotic period under Boris involved a pandemic

Macron's easy to deal with: Do as we say or no fishing.
I'm surprised that we haven't taken that line over the migrant crisis.

Yes it's their Achilles heel, you'll soon see action from the French side.

Yes, they're put there by an electorate who also haven't the balls to do anything other than replace one set of Wokeists alarmingly similar to the previous incumbents.
Boris did little other than consign the people of Northern Ireland to EU rules and regulations, and use what money we had left on either the white elephant HS2 or becoming a major funder of a proxy war in Eastern Europe. Let's have Carrie back instead, put her in the Cabinet with the narrow remit of Minister for Animal rights, but with no additional responsibilities.
If BoJo had done something useful such as paying more than lip service (or the French) to the ever worsening invasion of our shores by the illegals, or let Assange out of prison, or posed as something other than a green zealot ... led by the nose by his wife .... then I'd probably recall his time in office more favourably. But he was the man who presided over this country's Covid fiasco, who appointed Authoritarians such as Hancock and Javid, he headed the Junta that issued directives on how many minutes break from house arrest we could have in a day, whether we could go to work or were banned from doing so, whether we could open our business or be forced to watch it go to the wall, the most oppressive and dictatorial episode many of us will have lived through .... and gaiety is the exact opposite of what I recall when harking back to the Johnson regime.
Nor did Boris do anywhere near enough to safeguard us from the anti-democratic Remainiacs ..... if in a few years time we realise that the door was left wide open for Starmer & the Lib-Dems to swiftly and easily start major reconnections with Brussels, it'll be Boris as well as Rishi who we can point the finger at as enablers.

I don't think there is much to argue with in that criticism.
